I've noticed a couple days lag in my bank account posting paid bills even though the vendors I paid the bills to recorded the transaction as complete. Freaks my shit out, especially this time of year when I'm juggling bills and balance. As long as my paycheck posts as it should before my mortgage gets drawn.
Burrell, thanks for trying! I've had 7 donors so far! And I have $375 left to go. (Granted 2 of the donors were me since I commandeered K's phone and got a code from her too).
I also still have a cold. Colds suck. Colds are not my favorite things.
Oh! You guys, I have a new pool boyfriend! As opposed to my gay pool boyfriends who chat me up and 50% kick my ass. OK, so that just means he's stopped to talk to me post drill the 4 or 5 times we've crossed lanes since he started showing up (a NY resolution sort, I am guessing.) Asking about technique (um, don't drown?) and distance and expressing awe at my distance and pace (really, middling. Speed anyway. Distance is kinda crazycakes even if you ask me.) Anyway, it's kinda funny. He reminds me of my vet.
Is he young and/or cute? Or is it just a pool thing?
I did not have fruit. I had scallops cooked up with some olive oil and herbs and garlic and spinach.
After nasty numbers on the scale at the doc's office on Friday, I've gone back to tracking what i eat...today I have ONE CALORIE LEFT! ...I think it's probably wrong, but still amuses me.

I don't know if bonny has ever seen that post, but if she hasn't, she should. It's so clear-eyed and thoughtful and gut-wrenchingly truth-filled, it seems like it would be right up her alley.
Today I ate an orange, a handful of broccoli, and a pear and spinach salad. Not great, but, sadly, better than usual for me. There's also the three olives in my martini, but I have a sneaking suspicion they don't count.
Just a pool thang. It amuses me. I also have pool girlfriends, but the difference is they've likely seen me nude. Hah.
I don't remember if I ate fruit today or not. That probably means I didn't, right? I ate a pint of blueberries every day for the last three days, though.
I had a large orange juice from McDonalds. That counts, right?
