I went through a long pioneer phase but never really princesses.
Oooh, I had that (courtesy Laura Ingalls Wilder) but also a cliff dweller, star wars, circus, gymnastics, space travel (my brother and I actually made fake joysticks out of found parts to take with us on car trips to pretend we were piloting a spacecraft. Add in dad's random science gadgets, and I'll bet few other cars had all that in the backseat!) teacher, professor (got a huge scheduling ledger from dad's work and wrote Important Meetings and Classes in it), student (wherein I piled dad's harvard classics on my table and studiously read Macbeth!) mountain climber...yeah, I had an active and flexible imagination.
I don't think I had a princess phase. I vaguely remember wanting to be Penny from Inspector Gadget, and wow, aside from being captured by M.A.D. agents I guess I have achieved that?
Today was a seesaw of fun stuff and awesome news on one end and "OH SHIT KILL IT WITH FIRE" on the other.
Wikipedia let me know that the NPH bell that was ringing was actually a Law & Order: CI bell, not a Homicide bell. I
really
need to rewatch Homicide.
Is PayPal being weird for anyone else?
Yesterday I gave in to temptation and bought season 2 of
Being Human
from iTunes. My default payment method there is PayPal. The transaction proceeded, and the download completed, but the payment receipt says "credit card," and no transaction shows in my PayPal account. I don't have a credit card set up for payment in iTunes at all.
And then I tried to register a new bank account for funding my PayPal account, but the two small confirmation deposits still haven't shown up at the bank account.
Am I just being impatient? Or is something actually wrong?

When I did that, the deposits didn't show up in my bank account until the next business day.
Oh, and Liese, I love that the Biscuit has a Facebook page!
Oh, I need to friend Seabiscuit!
Usually mine showed up pretty quick.
Which reminds me, I need to get over there and grab that data for my year end reports.
Hee. You all should. He's awesome.
And it amuses me, and slightly worries me, that he has facebook friends that I don't know....how did he meet them?
Hmmmm. I guess I'm just too impatient then. I'm glad iTunes let the downloads proceed right away, though.
