I'm intrigued. Anybody ever made tomato jam?

Tonight is closing night of the H.P. Lovecraft Theater Pub. I'm a little wrecked from this weekend, but I'll still probably go. Especially since my world will be All About Baseball starting on Wednesday. I need some culture first!
I never have, David, but I'm guessing it would be pretty sweet. Along the lines of tomato paste.
I am reading Twilight for the student book club, and it is KILLING ME
At least you don't have to read New Moon. I found it to be a snoozer.
I enjoy watching my kids play sports and can get through professional sports with beer/peanuts/nachos. It's more about the people watching sometimes than the actual event.
Unless it's Buffy.
I think we've gained enough posters since it ended that it's not an assumption.
They threw my groceries away! So I had to go back out and get lunch.
The last book (I have blacked out the name, don't remind me) is the one I wish I had been able to burn. Yes, burn. The completist in me kept slogging through it - but I was calling Kelly every few pages to OMGWTF at her. I completely blame her for making me read the series.
I'm with you, I don't like them either.
And people *still* do a double-take when I refer to you as my twin. Look past the surface, folks...
I can watch most sports, but the two I'm most passionately in love with are hockey and soccer. Er, that should suprise absolutely no one here, though.
They threw my groceries away!
WTF, ita? Doesn't your office have a 24-hour rule? And didn't you put your name on the bag?

Hubby was talking about Mountain Dew jab and how you can't use the Baja Blast you get at Taco Bell for it.
Ugh. One of our grantors wanted to know the amount of salary that would be covered by their grant next month. I calculate it according to the agreement (which is, as all of them are, very detailed and specific) and run the number by my boss. She says, yeah, just send a note to her with that- oh, why don't you round it up $600+ dollars to the nearest thousand. Um, OK.
So I do that and of course the grantor is like, OK, can I have the breakdown of how you got to that number and who it covers?
SO UNHAPPY. Lesson learned: if my ED wants to lie, she can do it herself.
