She'll be 5'2" and weigh 105 lbs. And be all angsty and neurotic about her romantic situation.

I'd take Joss's version in a heartbeat over Kelley's.
I've never liked a Kelley show, but I did watch Harry's Law the other night, simply because I can't resist Kathy Bates. She's a joy, but I can already see the quirks in the setup that will get annoying really quickly.
I'll admit I love David E Kelley, although I haven't watched his last couple of shows and think his first show, Picket Fences, is still his best. TCG and I have been slowly watching Ally McBeal (re-watch for me, first watch for him).
Watching Harry's Law is what made me remember/realize my anti-Kelley-ness. I'm gonna hang in and keep watching it in hopes that Kathy Bates will dominate the parts I don't like, but the parts I don't like really bug.
Oh man, I loved Picket Fences with an unhealthy passion. Ally McBeal I put up with for longer than it deserved, and I don't think I've watched a Kelley show since.
I liked Picket Fences a lot when it started, but it lost me after a while.
Man, I loved Ally McBeal at the start. But it did become crazy crap at the end. But it did introduce me to the lovely looks of Lucy Liu, among others, and for that I'm grateful.
I watched maybe a few episodes of both Ally McBeal and Picket Fences, and I can't remember why I stopped. Ally sort of annoyed me, I know. What else was I watching then, I wonder? Seems so long ago.
I loved Picket Fences. I think I only watched it when it was in syndication, though.
I started putting up my new insulated curtains. I've got half of them up. It does seem less drafty now. Also, much prettier -- these [link] in green are way better than the green and gold paisley that was there when I moved in. Getting the other half of the curtains up is a bit more difficult -- I've got to stand on the back of the couch, and on that side, there isn't any bookcase to balance with -- so I think I'm going to eat lunch first, then attempt it. (I am, however, very proud of myself for figuring out how to take down the old curtains and put up the new curtains without having to totally take down the curtain rod.)
