Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I'd have a choice between Scuppy Race or Scuppy Dupwe. Though involving later pets and homes would allow for Miss Kitty Broadmoor, which would make an excellent drag name.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm so sorry Jilli. Peace to you and the family.

My name has a story, too. I'll share it in a bit.

So the story with my name is that I am named after my paternal grandfather, sorta. He was named Norman. When he died, my grandmother informed my shiksa mother (who was pregnant with me at the time) that it was traditional to name the next child after the deceased. My mom was OK with naming a son Norman, but she didn't want to name her daughter Norma. Eventually she and my grandmother agreed on Norah.

Naming my daughter, I wanted to honor my mom, who was dying at the time, but didn't want to name her directly after her, mostly for superstitious reasons. I went with my mom's middle name for Frances.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

The longest I ever lived on any street was "McGee" or "Warwick" in KC. The longest stretch on one street in childhood was "7th Ave South". The best porn street name was likely "Bush" in SF.

I had a couple of goldfish for a couple of weeks when I was 9, I can only remember the white one was named Moby Dick. I've never had another pet.

The family started collecting cats when I was in High School and the first two were Rascal and Woodstock.

Not sure if I can make a porn name out of all that.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I wasn't named for someone as much as I was named anything but for my great-grandmother Henrika, for whom my grandmother thought I should be named. I'm so glad my schoolmates didn't have the ammo to rename me "Reek-ee". Anyway, my folks put together a list of a few naming combos and let my sister-to-be pick.

Anyone else have your pen/stage/ alias name picked out, or is that my own little oddity? I mean, aside from those of you who have actual pen or stage names. Or, um, aliases.

I like the idea of using my maternal grandmother's maiden last name as my pen last name, but the first name changes. Every now and then I'll think about what would make a good alias. "Sarah" something's winning at the moment, because there are so many in my general age and socio-economic group that another would just blend in. (I tend to assume that if I'm using an alias I want to blend.)

Porn name: Skippy North. Maybe that would work for some sort of Norse Lolita act, but otherwise it doesn't sound that porny to me.

Not named for anyone, neither is my brother. mac's middle names are for my 2 grandfathers: Jody Lee.

I am very pleased with myself. Yesterday I knit a Christmas stocking ornament without using a pattern, it took about 4 tries, but I got it. Today I am doing a mirror of it so I can sew them together and have an ornament. I am going to make them for my family as part of next year's gifts. Also a way to use up some acrylic my grandmother gave me.

My mom was so sure I was going to be a boy that she hadn't picked out a girl's name at all for me. So she let the nurses at the hospital name me. They were also co-workers of my Dad's at the time, not total strangers, but still! Although, even if I've sometimes wanted a more interesting name, I do love my name. So it all worked out!
