Detroit is way ruder than LA. And NY has always been kind to me. So, you know, eff them.
I would rather hang out with the supposed "rudeness" of big city people than the fake friendliness I've sometimes come across in suburbs. This doesn't hold true across the board, obviously, but.... I love cities and city people!
