I should be working, but I'm lying around, eating the last of the chocolate Kate P. sent me for Secret Santa, and watching Big Bang Theory.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Both CJ and I overslept, to the point that we only woke up cause KCD called about picking up CJ for the weekend. I'm slowly trying to get the house back in order. The ick isn't gone yet, but it is better than it had been.
Between bits of cleaning, there is a ANTM marathon and beading sites to cruise. Now that my beads are organized, I know what I'm short on or out of. Must fix pronto.
Oooh, I think this is the episode with the ball pit.
Pee & Poo plushies. [link] No, really.
I think we linked to those about three years ago. When I started potty training Owen.
I was surrounded by chicks. No flirt for me. Waiting for sis to clear customs and immigration. There is snow outside. I'm so traumatised. It has been almost a decade without it.
OK, WTF? I just saw a Pull-Ups commercial featuring "The Potty Dance". Huh? In a park, with no facilities in sight. So they are dancing as they pee/poop their pants?
If they're wearing Pull Ups, probably.
Brunch was fun, if a little protein heavy. (Frittata with mozza, carmelized onions, and sundried tomatoes, organic veal(!) breakfast sausage, toasts and roasted potatoes.) And it was nice to see my friends at home where it was pretty relaxed.
(I didn't realize the sausage were veal until afterwards, when I was through the packaging away. Any wonder their booth at the farmer's market was emphasizing that they were humanely raised.)
I had a nap after they left and I have been a groggy mess since. I need to find something to watch for the evening.
I just got back from a friend's baby shower. She's been trying to get pregnant for about 10 years, so it was great to see her all round and glowy.
I think the rest of the afternoon and evening will be spent lazing about. Possibly a significant part of tomorrow, too.
For my two-week trip to Europe last summer, I took this. It was accepted as carry-on even on the smaller planes. I packed it with two pairs pants, one pair shorts, four shirts, four pairs underwear and socks, raincoat, shaver, laptop, camera, GPS, Droid, multipurpose charger, cords, and plug adapter. It worked out really well. At airport security, all I ever had to do was pull the laptop out and send it through the scanner separately.
