The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

For my two-week trip to Europe last summer, I took this. It was accepted as carry-on even on the smaller planes. I packed it with two pairs pants, one pair shorts, four shirts, four pairs underwear and socks, raincoat, shaver, laptop, camera, GPS, Droid, multipurpose charger, cords, and plug adapter. It worked out really well. At airport security, all I ever had to do was pull the laptop out and send it through the scanner separately.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Went out and had a little lunch and picked up mass quantities of mulch. The DH brought it all into the backyard, while I sat on the ground and weeded, which is all I can do in my sickly state. Got the two worst beds cleaned up, so I feel as if I have accomplished enough for the day.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a headache that didn't seem to want to go away, so I thought I would lie down for a few minutes. That was shortly before noon, and I just woke up.

Still have the headache, too.

The most strenuous things I've done today are a) getting the mail, and b) taking a shower. Now I'm just watching TV and using up kleenex.

I haven't done either of those yet. I did take Perkins the cat to the vet this morning though, so that's something.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went to a friend's house and we watched the very first episoded of Doctor Who. Then she suddenly had to go to work, even though today's her day off. (She's going to help a dying kid and her parents, so perhaps it'd be wrong for me to complain.)

I've come down with a severe case of the crankies. Cancelled my going out plans for the evening and cleaned the upstairs (even dusted!) instead. Now dyeing hair.

Not sure where this mood came from. Might be related to my sore ass and elbow. Was able to get in my swim, but was always aware of my booboos.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fuck. That was good pizza. One for NY, there.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It ain't braggin' if its true.
