if you don't want to wear them all weekend why wear them on the plane?
Because I want to have a pair of boots for wearing if I have to do outside stuff that will be nice and warm. If it were fall/no show, then not boots. Much easier. I'm thinking indoors and outdoors.
put in a pair of ballet flats.
If the shoes you wear on the plane are the heaviest, then go with the 3 pair.
Oof, too much backspacing and correcting was necessary for that sentence. I guess not enough sleep, not much food and a glass of whiskey will do that. I'm a wee bit woozy.
billytea, oh my goodness!
Way after the fact, but major kudos for the Doctor Who reference. Faction Paradox is quite awesome.
A) Yay! and B) Why didn't I know that you knew what that was?
And C) ...Was that even a sentence? Sorry.
I've been trying to drag people I know into Faction Paradox stuff (with some limited success recently), mostly because I'm dying to talk about it. So, y'know... no pressure. (Have you heard the audios?)
Not only did I venture into the great outside, I also reorganized all my beads. Msbelle - the organizer you sent as part of my Secret Santa package has been put to good use. It now contains all my Swarovski crystals. So much nicer having them all in one place.
I'm feeling quite accomplished for the day. Not looking forward to updating my 101 in 1001 list tomorrow. This week was mostly lost to the ick.
Calling Hec and Javachik- have you seen this? As much as I love baseball, oy. This is has gotten out of hand.
Alan! Alan! Alan!
That was brilliant. "Please, don't try to talk while my hand is in your mouth."
Also brilliant is the line about Sarah Palin and the media strategy. I'd love to see someone call her on it.
We went ice skating tonight. My legs are so tired they're wiggly.

I haven't, so far I've only encountered them through the Eighth Doctor books. I thought they were one of the best inventions from that period though. On which note, how do you take events as compelling as in
The Ancestor Cell
and turn it into such a plodding, pedestrian read?

It's unfortunate because you can see the TV guys' little gears turning over in their brains: "You know, that team that just won the World Series is full of...
characters...."
