Way after the fact, but major kudos for the Doctor Who reference. Faction Paradox is quite awesome.

I've been trying to drag people I know into Faction Paradox stuff (with some limited success recently), mostly because I'm dying to talk about it. So, y'know... no pressure. (Have you heard the audios?)
Not only did I venture into the great outside, I also reorganized all my beads. Msbelle - the organizer you sent as part of my Secret Santa package has been put to good use. It now contains all my Swarovski crystals. So much nicer having them all in one place.
I'm feeling quite accomplished for the day. Not looking forward to updating my 101 in 1001 list tomorrow. This week was mostly lost to the ick.

I haven't, so far I've only encountered them through the Eighth Doctor books. I thought they were one of the best inventions from that period though. On which note, how do you take events as compelling as in The Ancestor Cell and turn it into such a plodding, pedestrian read?

Prime Time Shuttle just called me to tell me they'd be here in 1:15 to pick me up. Under normal, non-insomniac (or mildly insomniac) conditions, I'd have been pissed! My alarm doesn't go off for 20 minutes.
I've just been up for half an hour, but they don't know that.
