Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I put on outside clothes and actually went outside. Ran a few errands and talked with a friend at the dojo. I was beat by the time I got home. Don't even have the energy to change into inside pants.

ozzie is alternating hissing at me and scenting me by rubbing on me. stupid boycat. Sylvester seems to be fine with the lost cat hanging out on the porch. Lost cat is now crying.

Ai.

I've been catsitting for a friend, and the cats are Bongo and Lola. Bongo is a ginormous Loki-colored cat with ear tassles. I seriously wonder about his parentage, he's so long and tall and probably 25lbs+, but not fat. And he's hilarious. Tries to hide behind things much smaller than him and has a high chirpy voice like Loki. And Lola....I'd never met Lola, she always hid at parties there. But she's a total lovebug and climbs all over me and wants nothing more than to writhe around in my lap, purring. Or if she can't get on my lap, she writhes up and down the stairs. Slithering up and down, seriously. I think she misses her people.

Anyway, I come home smelling of Other Cat, and only Loki cares, and only to the point of thinking I have interesting smells and he needs to remark me.

And yes, I end up singing all sorts of funny stuff when I'm over there with those cats. Mongo-Bongo, and Lola and Lola-loll-a-Lola!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Can you tell if lost cat is crying for attention or to be let out? If it's the latter, she may be an outdoor cat who is ready to go home on her own.

attention. She wants IN the house. If I go out to her she rubs and rubs and purrs and purrs.

And Ozzie is hissing at me again. He is the most territorial cat I have ever had.

She's a Lola. Or Pooch. There are a lot of not-mine cats in my life.

Thought: lotion up with your favorite stinkiest lotion and pet Oz so he's stinky too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Will I need boots every day in NY? I'm flying in in cowboy boots, and I'm wearing granny boots to the wedding. Is there room for a pair of normal Doc Marten mary janes in the weather?

Why the fuck did I log into work, find an email not sent because OMGWTFSHIT! halon dump, and then sit down, review it, add a few lines and send.

This is why I don't bring my work laptop home. Lazy over-achievers syndrome.

I'm suspicious of bringing more than two pairs of shoes on most any trip, ita. Maybe a pair of flip flops for the beach or something, but those don't take up any room. But you definitely can't go more than 3 pairs unless you were in the wedding and had to wear a specific (not fabulous) pair or something.
