Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I looked it up because Frankenbudda (I think?) used it yesterday and then you used it and I was like, "What's up with all of the shenanigan use!"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Y'all want to know what is so yummy it's insane? Brie & pesto with grape tomatoes on sourdough toast. I also have marinated olives and a cakeball for desert! Lunchtime WIN!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Makeup for Jesse.

I hate when people are late for my meetings, especially when they're on my team and outsiders are on time. Hmmph. I also hate when that means the meeting runs late.

That sounds delicious (ETA: DJ's lunch, not ita's late running meeting). You win. What's a cakeball?

Jen [link] Except this one was lovingly made by a friend for my b-day. It's vanilla cake with chocolate frosting & sprinkles.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'd feel better about it if my mom were an experienced traveler, or at all comfortable with public transportation, or if I were interested in genealogy. But no.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

MiL called to let us know that FiL's tour group was safely evacuated from Tunisia before they closed the airports...unfortunately I'd been too wrapped up with new baby stuff to even realize there was anything that serious going on there! So now I'm catching up on the news and feeling retroactively incredibly relieved that they were able to get everyone out before the coup/state of emergency.
