MiL called to let us know that FiL's tour group was safely evacuated from Tunisia before they closed the airports...unfortunately I'd been too wrapped up with new baby stuff to even realize there was anything that serious going on there! So now I'm catching up on the news and feeling retroactively incredibly relieved that they were able to get everyone out before the coup/state of emergency.

I felt bad that I was so relieved that my mother admitted after the trip here for my cousin's funeral that she's really not up to traveling any more. She and my sister have been agitating for a trip, but I've been dragging my feet because I knew that I would have to do *everything* including shlepping the luggage, while being blamed if anything went wrong.
