So, as of Monday, the kids will have attended school for 3 days total out of the previous 30 - Christmas break was Dec. 17 - Jan. 4. Can I get an AAAARGH!
Normally I sympathize with the kids here, but that is ridiculous.

I don't know. There are state mandates for number of instruction hours I am pretty sure. They don't have any snow flexibility built into the schedule. But would they have to pay teachers overtime? Our budgets are not good at all.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.
Does my dealership not realize that I come here because a former race car driver owns it and there are generally several cars to ogle? What is up with zero race cars while my car is serviced? Hrmph. Actually they are a good dealership anyway but I was expecting some race cars while I wait today.
God there is a terribly annoying woman here who is insome creepy acoustic location so I can HEAR every word. She's desperate not to be taken advantage of but is so annoying that I am not on her side.
Time to write thank you notes and hope she leaves.

I trimmed Frankie's claws, cleared and cleaned the coffee table, put a basket by the front door for recycling, and started a load of laundry. Next I'll sort donations, hang my new calendars, and read a work document. Oh, and I need to preheat the oven to bake chicken.
