Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did you know the IRS doesn't start processing tax returns until the 14th or so?

ION, taxes are done and filed!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, I haven't even been able to get my W-2 yet.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I approve of her potty mouth! Not that she needs my fucking approval.

This too!

ION, I accidentally bought plain pub cheese instead of horseradish pub cheese, and it's just not very good.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I approve of her potty mouth! Not that she needs my fucking approval.

But I should mention that since my bosses broke up the company, we got a new retirement plan, forcing me to pay off a loan against my old plan, which mostly wiped out my savings. So I wanted an early refund this year.

I get my W-2 on January 31 every year, as late as the law allows.

Yeah, I'd do my taxes now too (since I expect plenty back, yay buying a house) but I don't get my W2 until the end of the month!

I ate 6 clementines. And dinner was salad. Which wasn't the plan, but then all my plans have been thwarted tonight. Came home, cat barf on bed, so threw that in the wash. Was going to make green chile posole, but discovered I no longer have oregano. Seeing as it is snowing tomorrow, didn't want to brave the grocery stores then, so run out to the store tonight.

It was supposed to be a nice relaxing evening, damnit.

And I still need to make my lunch. And remake the bed.

Also, I got 13 months pay last year (they gave me my January check in December because of the breakup) and will get 11 months pay this year. So my refund was much lower this year, and (I assume) will be bigger next year.

sara! I just found out last night that the mexican-place-in-a-KFC now has green pozole as well as red (they used to only have red). I can't wait to try it...
