"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I get my W-2 on January 31 every year, as late as the law allows.

Yeah, I'd do my taxes now too (since I expect plenty back, yay buying a house) but I don't get my W2 until the end of the month!

I ate 6 clementines. And dinner was salad. Which wasn't the plan, but then all my plans have been thwarted tonight. Came home, cat barf on bed, so threw that in the wash. Was going to make green chile posole, but discovered I no longer have oregano. Seeing as it is snowing tomorrow, didn't want to brave the grocery stores then, so run out to the store tonight.

It was supposed to be a nice relaxing evening, damnit.

And I still need to make my lunch. And remake the bed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, I got 13 months pay last year (they gave me my January check in December because of the breakup) and will get 11 months pay this year. So my refund was much lower this year, and (I assume) will be bigger next year.

sara! I just found out last night that the mexican-place-in-a-KFC now has green pozole as well as red (they used to only have red). I can't wait to try it...

Cool! I just like the flavor of green better, so that's how I make it. Don't often find it in restaurants, even in my hometown.

Our wings are not tired.

Teachers, peeps who want a mortgage interest deduction, and those who have itemized deductions for charitable contributions get to wait until mid-February to file.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got back from Atlanta late last night.(I was there for GaFilk, a convention) Plane had to be de-iced, as it had started snowing/sleeting as we waited to take off, but we still got out.

Wait, so basically anyone who itemizes can't file until mid-feb? that kinda sucks. now i don't feel so slothfull about not yet adding up all my 2010 expenses. Curse you government, for enabling my procrastinatioN!
