No fruit yet today but I had a serving of kale and some carrots.
One class down, one to go. First day of teaching is always suspiciously easy.
'The Killer In Me'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Why limit yourself?
We are scarring children RIGHT NOW. This must stop.
Opening their minds to new vistas you mean. Expanding their horizons. Fractions forever!
Won't anyone think of the children?
Crap, crap, crap. I paid my rent one day late. I used a different account than normal, but everything went through the system fine. Today - the 10th - I get a call that the payment failed and I've been hit with an NSF charge along with late fees from the beginning of the month until now. Turns out the account I used "generally" does not have e-payments available.
That sucks donkey nards. When I called to check the facts on the account, I also pulled up my rental payment history. The NSF charge hit on the 6th and I'm only finding out about it today?!?!? Oh, and they want a cashiers check for my rent or I get a 3 day notice. I'm waiting for the rental office to return my call so I can try and figure a way to get them paid and get them to at least remove the fees since the 6th if not all the fees.
I had a serving of fruit (at least) at breakfast today.
Nonian, I wish I could help you. But my org. hasn't really looked into the non-Southern Sudanese military ethnography. We did put together a slide show about our South Sudan HIV work, but aside from maybe being a nice, semi-topical work break, that probably wouldn't help you much. [link]
Do the tomato chunks in my lunch chili count as fruit?
No, it does not.
It has to be something that would qualify by this criteria: If you were having lunch with friends at a Tuscany villa, and the elegant Italian countess who owns the place sets out the fruit course and this item was conceivably included.
So tomato chunks are right out.
If you were having lunch with friends at a Tuscany villa, and the elegant Italian countess who owns the place sets out the fruit course and this item was conceivably included.
Note: This criteria seems unduly restrictive as it would probably eliminate most tropical fruits which, I think it is safe to say, should count as a fruit serving.
Sorry you got blindsided with that, Suzi. I hope you can get it sorted.
I think I'm skipping my after-work swim today, in favor of picking up my Honeybell oranges that Dad mailed out as well as an Amazon delivery. Also, I'm still arguing with my stomach, and the couple of sips of water I've had since lunch are not settling well, either.
