I don't see why. How about a nice gray?
That was the other option.
After doing a Google Image search, I think my image of a gray suit is less cool than what a gray suit actually looks like. So maybe gray is not bad.
How about this, P-C? [link]
Ooh, that's nice. And I think the black one the guy recommended me was also that price, so that could work out with the deal.
Black suit is handy if you need to attend a funeral, and anyway around the Bay Area it's a stylish look.
Gray is a lot more versatile than either black or navy, in my opinion.

Yeah, it seems like that whenever the people at my company suits up, it's a black suit, so I was confused when the Internet was not supporting a black suit. Is black suit not good for weddings? I may have a wedding or two to attend this year.
Ooh, that suit also comes in taupe.

How about this olive/taupe business? It's more on the grayscale.
In general, you shouldn't wear black to a wedding (or a funeral for that matter, unless you are particularly close to the family).
I admit that I don't know what would work with your skin tone, as opposed to my husband, who is almost as pale as I am.
But you could wear a gray suit to a wedding, a funeral, or work.
I am apparently a gray evangelist.
A black suit is always fine when navy might be recommended, I would imagine.

Even for men? Huh.
Edit: Oh, I can imagine confusion if the wedding party is in tuxes or whatever.
