Phooey. I just spent the last hour or so cleaning up Isaac's barf. He threw up in MY bed. On HIS SISTER too. And on me during one of the later episodes.
Not the best reason to stay up past my bedtime if you ask me.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Amazing how much being out/up late involves puke.
Ha!
Thinking about how pointless her death is keeps sending me off crying.
Sadder still, that she was there precisely because she cared about her future and her country. Christina Green, by all accounts, was a special little girl.
Ah, I can't decide if it's time to go into the hospital or not. Never actually went to sleep. Hmm. Hmm. Will watch more Justified and then decided, while my Nook charges.
After Oklahoma City, people started looking at the militias suspiciously, wondering what else they might be up to rather than just "we're patriotic Mer'cins, jist wantin' to be ready when them Commies coming stomping down Main Street!" Then people started reading their releases and websites and figuring out what stuff like white pride meant. Darn us liberals with reading comprehension.
Like, was it thought that anti-Reagan liberals has triggered that assassination attempt?
Since Hinckley pretty immediately said he shot Reagan to impress Jodie Foster, it didn't really come up. We were too busy mocking Al Haig for saying he was in charge.
No one thought anyone but "crazy" about the first Ford assassination attempt, since Squeaky Fromme was a Manson follower. Sara Jane Moore did say she tried to kill Ford because he had "declared war on the Left." (She was a little late. Nixon really did.) I would say that almost any act of violence against a government facility or university in that era would have been attributed to anti-war activists.

Sigh. CNN's religion blog posted something about Giffords being Jewish. The second comment on the post is someone who wants to make it very clear that, since her father was Jewish but her mother was not, she's not REALLY a Jew. Really, people? This is what we're arguing about today? [link]
And two of the first five comments on the USA Today article are the same thing. (One of them exactly the same.) [link]

That is very depressing.
