Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

I started a blog. It's Bob's fault. We'll see if I manage to maintain it. [link]

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I had TJ's manicotti and a slice of challah.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

What about naming the dragon after a geographic location, like a town? Somewhere that's far enough away that he's never been, but close enough to have heard of?

Also, I tried to kill myself on the front steps tonight (no ice even) and pulled a muscle in my shoulder. Better not screw up my swim tomorrow, I'm aiming to doing another 2 mile crawl without stopping to make up for today's hatefulness.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I just threw a pot of the world's laziest "homemade" chicken soup together: leftover shredded meat from Wednesday night's rotisserie chicken, a can of organic cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, a package of frozen pre-mixed potatoes, green beans, and carrots, a smidge of garlic and lots of sage. Now I go put one of the frozen baguettes in the oven, and in 20 minutes, I have tasty food. That's the theory, at least.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We spent the day with my friend Julie who is in town for the weekend, without her husband or kids. It was wonderful to see her. We had fish tacos. And we went to the Getty Villa. It was all great until Grace puked. Twice. Did I mention today was another pink food day?

Sigh.

All three car seats have now been washed this week. Yay?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am glad I was running around since 1pm and did not have the radio on. So sad and angry and worried for our country. Do not doubt that the shooter is mentally ill, but really do not understand how people think that the violent rhetoric is not an issue.

It's possible that I'm making plans to go to London in July.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Plasticize your car seats, Kat.

Jilli, we too had Impromptu Soup. This year the light bulb went on over my head to cook the noodles separately and then just pour the soup over it. Obvious, but not to me. Anyway, angel hair / cappelini tastes so good that way.

So we had veggie stock with garlic, hot sauce and lemon juice, then added seitan, tofu, and bok choy. Over the noodles. Pretty satisfying on a cold day and healthy too.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I started a blog

Ha! Me too! Only mine isn't Bob's fault. And it's a food thing about mostly bread and beer with occasional planned visits from your friends bacon and stinky cheese. [link]
