Yeah, he got lucky too!
So about 6 years ago, my SIL started working as an aide at a part time church preschool just to get reduced fee daycare. She quickly parlayed it into a full time hourly classroom aide at a franchised day care 5 years ago. This summer, she was made a director specifically to turn around a failing school and in the past few months, has upped their numbers, rating and soon will get the school, long unaccredited, accredited. Her district manager bends her ear a lot for ideas, and is sending her to a conference this month, at company expense. He sends new director and assoc director hires to her to train.
Seriously, she's amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being a district manager in another couple years.
One of the SF city supervisors was interviewed on the Daily Show this week (about the banning of toys in Happy Meals), and the word I hear is that he didn't know the point was to make him look ridiculous. Because he doesn't watch the show, I guess?
Oh yeah, that was tragic.
Seriously, she's amazing.
Sounds like!
sarameg - the conundrum of clementines: you must eat them with abandon because if you don't they will go bad before you get to really enjoy them.
Not that I speak from personal experience or anything.
Mine usually last a couple weeks in the fridge. But I eat them like I don't eat candy.
Eight clementines makes my mouth hurt. I'm good for one. Maybe.
I put together my new office chair. It has so many adjustments I'm not sure what I want to do.
I could do three, maybe. Eight is impressive.
Over 8 hours?
Doesn't hurt my mouth. Very interesting sensations on the gutworks, though.
Oh, I thought you meant in one sitting! Over eight hours, sure.
Not even over 8 hours for me. Maybe over 8 days I'd be okay.
