As it turns out, no big. I went online and rescheduled for 10:45 tomorrow morning. Yeah, oddly, the shrinkwrap really works. Best thing is outdoor shutters, then storm windows, then shrinkwrap. Then I`d go with insulating inside frame cellular shades next and then insulating curtains. You can also buy just the insulating part and keep your same decor.

ION, I think I used up all my productivity the other day. I can`t even be arsed to stoke the fire right now, even though a) cold and b) all that firewood stacked neatly outside the door.

I'm being very nasty in a review of a report. Well, they deserve it. But seriously, what would you say if someone sent you an environmental report that included the following:

The USC contains a consolidation and codification of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It sets out the current status of the laws, as amended, without repeating all the language of the amendatory acts except where necessary. The USC is declared to be prima facie evidence of those laws. Its purpose is to present the laws in a concise and usable form without requiring recourse to the many volumes of the Statutes at Large containing the individual amendments.

too harsh? I feel bad, since I'm not even the client here, but seriously. I see entry-level staff at work, with no QA review before it went out the door.

Well, I really hate the curtains that are there now. My landlords put up window treatments in all the rooms, and some of them are OK, but these are just a horrible green and gold paisley.

The insulating curtains do work. Even plain heavy drapes help.

The shrinkwrap stuff works well too, and as people have said, it sticks pretty well.
