Art Crawl!!!

And the times I get to TJ's they have the bigger quantities as well as the smaller, single serving sizes. (My local grocery store doesn't carry FAGE and is always out of the bigger quantities.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Erika, I hope everything's ok with your mom.

I like TJ's house brand of Greek yogurt. I haven't tried the Fage, though, so it could be I don't know what I'm missing.

I agree the Fage is better--if that's what you're into. I mean, I feel like it's tangier/thicker. And that's what I like about greek yogurt. But I could see it being too much for some people.

Art Crawl!!!

I am completely surrounded by the books, yarn and patterns that I am sorting. Completely. I am feeling better enough to tackle this job which was one of the ones that I had hoped to deal with over break - so whoo! And possibly Hoo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It totally bums me out to remember how much better the Fage is, because the TJ's brand is so much cheaper! Wah wah.

In fun news, I had lunch with my mother! And a former coworker of hers/current coworker of mine. Good times.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy anniversary PixDesigns!

And congrats to Bob on the good scan! Plus nothing~ma to Kate.

My office is, if anything, colder than my uninsulated, unheated house. How is that possible? And how can I work like this?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I like Chobani (or is it Chaboni?) greek yogurt, and was happy to see that Whole Foods had it in the individual size cartons with fruit included (my grocery store has it just in the big tubs in plain and vanilla flavors). Chobani is the highest in terms of protein, and is really tasty. I think I'll head over to TJ's and try the Fage for tomorrow morning's breakfast.

Instead of my usual fallback of chicken salad from the cafeteria for today's lunch, I got the garlic tilapia. Not bad! And, since I didn't get any of the side dishes (although the rice and corn both looked terrific, I wouldn't be able to eat them without forsaking too much of the fish), the cashier only charged me $2.50 instead of $4.

Also, the cafeteria worker serving me my fish asked if I lived in his apartment building, and it turns out I do. He told me that his new next-door neighbors also work here! I'll have to find out who they are.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Kathy, Jewel by me carries Chobani (and Fage), so your's might, too.

hip deep in pie

Tomorrow is my coworker's birthday, so I might try to make a lemon layer cake. But it's also epiphany...so gallette de roi?? I would buy one of those though...I don't feel like messing around with puff pastry.
