The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Congratulations to Jess & Ethan! Welcome Aeryn!

I did my onerous task today: I got out of bed before noon, dammit.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm on my way to my onerous task, getting my car inspected. I'm only a few days late...

I have only gotten coffee and food so far. Well, and dealt with a work sitch, but that was just a phone thing. The onerousity is still staring at me from all corners of my room.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I forgot about the bleaching. Well, he's just going to have to not look.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

OMG, everything, everything, everything is an onerous task for me today. I am the worst.

They should send me home for sloth. I don't know how many sloth hours I have accumulated, though.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I forgot about the bleaching. Well, he's just going to have to not look.

I would possibly still F Jack, M Dustin and C Beatty. Also, I don't understand how the bleaching works. Like, it seems like if you are very fair, it might look normal, but if you are darker complected you might have a white spot?

information libertarian

Josh Grioban's new album will be The Best Tweets of Kanye West (okay, not really, but it's funny!): [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I felt very peculiar when I was the only one among my sister's friends who'd seen Kanye's dick.

However, one of them had tried, but she hadn't been able to find the right picture. That made me feel better.

My sister hangs out with her students. I'm trying to imagine going to the beach and getting drunk with any of my lecturers from university, and knowing about their sex lives (and the sex lives of their family), and NO. Just not happening.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

amyth and I are as one in the sloth. And today is not a day I can really afford to be slothful, seeing as how I will be out on Friday and for an unknown amount of time tomorrow afternoon*, and we close our February issue this week. And almost none of us were here last week. Eep.

*Going to the hospital tomorrow for a possible biopsy on my lymph nodes and/or breast, where I have had pain and swelling for a month now that one round of antibiotics hasn't touched. Yes, I am freaked out, even though the rational brain says it's probably nothing. BIOPSY. Do not want. Trying not to think about it, but obviously not having much luck.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

So it turns out that I'm staying at the Omni only Sunday and Monday nights. Tuesday and Wednesday nights, I'll be at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. I have no idea what this means, geographically, but I thought I should let you all know!

Ooooh, fancy schmanzy, i'm very very familiar with that Westin. They have a lovely rooftop pool and a fantastic bar. A little on the spendy side, but the food and drink are both very very good. It means you'll have a pretty long drive to get anywhere...except the theatre where O_A and i used to work - which is right next door. Also the Performing Arts Center and new Opera House. Nice if you wanna catch a show!

eta: there's also a pedestrian bridge across the big street to one of the poshest shopping malls anywhere: South Coast Plaza. On the plus side, there is a Sees shop on the lower level. Also, pants for over $1k.
