I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Most of the time, I'm not working in a really noisy environment. So I haven't had problems with the program hearing anybody but me. However, when it does hear me wrong, it's not always easy to correct by voice. I'm sure part of this is because I haven't revisited the manual to learn the way the program has changed since I last knew it well. I own MacSpeech Dictate. Since buying it, MacSpeech was bought by nuance, the makers of DragonDictate. That's where MacSpeech's speech engine came from anyway so there's a chance the product is much better now. I know it was only a couple months after I bought this update that a new version of the product was out. I haven't ponied up for it yet.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

If someone said they were available in the early afternoon would you think they were available after 3? It is possible that I completely suck at communicating with people.

To me, 3 is firmly mid-afternoon.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I concur. An event taking place in early afternoon, I would expect to be all over, nobody left but the clean-up crew, by 3.

This is why I should only hang out with buffistas.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And I just got the first email from a man who is asking me if I started the site because I was raped and suggesting me to take self defense classes.

Because I'm the problem, of course. I'm the hysterical one. And I never wrote that post that saying that I started the site because a bunch of boys tripwired me on the street... oh wait, I have done that! Silly, hysterical me.

I swear, sometimes I just want to punch the universe in the face.

I support this motion.

Too bad you can't punch him through the internet.

Huh. This malaise I feel - not wanting to go outside even though it is above freezing and semi-sunny - is post holiday let-down, isn't it?

WS, it sounds like it. I'm feeling it too. I'm sad to be heading home.
