Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Buffy ,'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Congrats Seska! Rock on with your bad lecturer self.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would still cheerfully dress like a skank if situation indulged it. Situation, situation, situation.

Congrats, Seska!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Once again, I am proud to stand with ita on this one.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thanks! Am very happy. Especially since the head of the department was interviewing me, and he said I did a great interview. And apparently I know my feminist theory. And can at least say the right things about my teaching skills. Yay!

How are people's turkeys?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My father-in-law (!! ZOMG, I have IN-LAWS!!) is making the turkey, but my ham is fucking fantastic!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yay for Erin's Thanksgiving Piggie!

And Happy Thanksgiving/Happy Black Friday Eve/Happy Thursday to alla y'all (unless you're in a part of the world where it's no longer Thursday...or not yet Thursday, I can never remember how the time zones go).

My Buffistas are WAY up near the top of the list of Things What I Am Thankful For. (Also thankful for being able to end sentences with prepositions.)

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Congratulations on the fantastic ham, Erin.

We are having breaded cod, apparently. I am quite envious of all your turkeys.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Got my pie in about an hour later than I had planned. Mostly because I kept snoozing because two annoying friends sent texts at 7:48 and 8:13 respectively. This would have just necessitated a snort and a rollover, except that I woke to an excrutiating sinus headache that it took me a while to recover from (after trying to fall back asleep, whinging for a bit, finally getting up and taking some meds, going back to bed, etc.) Also, because I underestimated the amount of time it would take to prepare the apples and crust.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Congratulations on the job, Seska!
