Thanks, again, everyone! We've been working on getting chores done so that we can hike a little this afternoon and then go out to dinner early.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy birthday, Sparky!
I just had a texting conversation with my mom in which I learned that my dad bought $20 Cowboys tickets from a scalper and they are now in Dallas Stadium.
I feel the need to remind everyone, including myself, that my parents do not, in fact, spend every waking hour plotting how best to make my life miserable. Sometimes they are normal people. And sometimes we are a normal family.
that my parents do not, in fact, spend every waking hour plotting how best to make my life miserable
They're saving that for halftime?
I wish I could reassure you, Aims, but I am afraid that I too was denied a Barbie Dream House, and it did indeed scar me for life.
Happy Birthday Sparky !
question for the academics here -- my neighbor is in college and is doing a paper where she needs x number of articles written form 1920 - 1950. She belongs to a number of libraries both academic and public. Unfortunately it looks like the lowest price article is 16 dollars -- so we are talking maybe 120 dollars for this one paper.
First -is this normal? What she should expect? and second , when I get the citations from her I hoping some of you might have some ideas of better ways ( meaning cheaper ) to get around some of these costs.
I never did get a barbie dream house. I did , however; have the camper
Happy Birthday, Sparky!
beth - is there a reason why she can't access the articles via academic databases for free?
Shir, I think it is because they are historic -- current things are mostly free, but not the older stuff. ( Actually one of our local paper charges for anything more than a week old ) But I'll be double checking once I get the citations from her .
Happy birthday, Sparky!

Awesome thing to remember.

I had the Dream Car. I pretended it was different cars.
I know, I know. You are all shocked at this.
