You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I found a white hair, but the magic of stubble is that the first few are hard to find. The downside is that it will look really stupid when it becomes more prevalent. I doubt I'll have hair long enough for actual streaks of lack of colour for quite a while.

move out and draw fire

I've been asked to do a study, the goal of which is to recommend social media applications, if any, that federal government agencies should have on their secured systems. So it's not about accessing FB, it's should they put their own internal FB up.

Which collaborative or web 2.0 apps do you guys find useful? I'm recommending blogs, a photo management tool like flickr, a microblogging tool like Twitter, and a personnel finder liked LinkedIn. I'm also recommending some sort of dashboard like HootSuite. Other thoughts?

not your mom's socks.

Dropbox.

Also, hi everyone; hugs and ~ma and welcome homes. My antennae are a bit pulled in and I'm lurky, but I'm thinking of you all.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Aw, I have a Taz curled up next to me! He's feeling better, I think.

“Not dead yet!”

I got my hands on Barb's new book! I will be rewarding myself for doing a lot of housecleaning tomorrow by reading it!!!

MEEEP!

I also got reports of sightings out in the wild, so I'm putting Buffistas on notice-- if'n you're out and near a bookstore, please, to take a peek?

Also, MEEEEP! People are going to be reading my book!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

People are going to be reading my book!

YES. YES THEY ARE.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

My family tree is all warped by a cousin raised as a brother, fratricide, divorce, and people we don't speak to.

OMG Ginger, I think we might be related!

And yay, Barb's book!

... that's all I got, y'all. Sunday morning, you know.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Finally getting around to watching Sherlock and it's every bit as kickass as people have been saying. I'm watching it online (it's on PBS' site 'til Dec 7).

And I think I'm a Cumberbatchelorette.

Raq, I'm curious about the hair, but that link didn't work for me (it just went to a "this jpeg is on tripod!" pic).

Doing a temp color won't make my hair red (like I said--currently even using perm dye, my hair gets redISH)--I think I'd have to go hardcore, and like Burrell said, that won't come or go easy.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Yay Barb's book! Will it be in non-US bookstores? Will keep an eye out for it.

I've gone very, very red from time to time. I'm quite red at the moment. I increasingly want to be plain light brown (close to my natural colour) now that I'm really quite grey (aged all of 32). But I go red in the summer. It's time for a return to brown now that it's cold, I think. I do not know why the seasons changing makes me want to be less red.
