Raq, I'm curious about the hair, but that link didn't work for me (it just went to a "this jpeg is on tripod!" pic).
Doing a temp color won't make my hair red (like I said--currently even using perm dye, my hair gets redISH)--I think I'd have to go hardcore, and like Burrell said, that won't come or go easy.
Yay Barb's book! Will it be in non-US bookstores? Will keep an eye out for it.
I've gone very, very red from time to time. I'm quite red at the moment. I increasingly want to be plain light brown (close to my natural colour) now that I'm really quite grey (aged all of 32). But I go red in the summer. It's time for a return to brown now that it's cold, I think. I do not know why the seasons changing makes me want to be less red.
I have red hair, thanks to Feria. I love it, and try to treat it gently. It's Ruby Fusion (since I'm job hunting, it's a darker red), about this shade on me: [link]
My hair's about chin-length on me now. [link]
Man. I love nagging about things which are related to other people (which makes me a hell of a secretary).
I hate nagging about things which are related to me. Even if these are things like: "let's arrange my salary thing, alright?".
My mother wants me to go red. Instead of blonde, anyway. She was a redhead in her youth, and I think she reminisces fondly about the streaks I used to have. Instead I go burgundy. Once pink.
Ginger, I think you and she should go away next year for Thanksgiving. Lots of ~ma to your family.
I've got a hair appointment on Tuesday, but I don't think the upkeep on red is going to be in my budget, and my work doesn't like fun things like purple.
Sigh. It seems as if the sex-segregated bus lines will be launched this year.
Sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing here.
I love red hair of any and all shades. My skin tones are fairly pinkish, so finding a red that works on me is kind of difficult. I usually leave my hair its usual brown and look wistfully at the red hair of others.
