Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Read the sweet interview with Elizabeth Banks, and then enjoy the rather hilarious comments

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Much health~ma for Taz. Also for smonster!

Seska, one advantage to taking a bat to uni people would be to give them the experience of dealing with a system that doesn't accommodate the able-bodied.

This seems a reasonable, well thought-out approach. I'm off to buy the bat.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Strikes me I phrased that wrong - should be "a system that only accommodtes the able-bodied". sigh ... Friday ....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Strikes me I phrased that wrong - should be "a system that only accommodtes the able-bodied". sigh ... Friday ....

I was briefly confused, but I knew what you meant.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I rather liked the idea of creating a system that didn't accommodate the able-bodied. Via a bat.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You know the whole drama of my cousin and his wife being diagnosed with terminal cancer within a month of each other and the granddaughter who ended up doing all the care and arrangements, including my cousin's funeral less than two weeks ago? Her stepfather (husband of my cousin's wife's daughter) died yesterday. He had a bypass last February, but he was doing fine and still working as a plumber. I saw him several times at the hospice and then at the funeral, and he seemed great. I suspect the same granddaughter will end up making the arrangements, since her mother is very upset and not really an arranging sort of person.

I think god is making bar bets with the devil again.
