Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

It’s too late to order a proper wedding dress,

A "proper" wedding dress is just a dress that you love and want to get married in! You don't have to go to a bridal store to get one or have a dressmaker make it for you.

What are you thinking you want to wear? Also, when are you getting hitched again?

Also, have you checked out offbeatbride.com? There are million ideas on there for wedding outfits. Possibly too many ideas but I'd be happy to help you look!

Oh, I know, the wedding dress shop was my last stop. I want a white silk dress with a skirt big enough to wear a crinoline under it. But I can't find anything. I just ordered something that Val found for me the other day, but I think it is going to be a size to small. The wedding is November 12th. I know I should have been looking months ago, but my brain was elsewhere.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

At least you tried, Andi.

I hope the wedding dress search becomes more fun and successful soon, sj.

Also, Stephanie is awesome and her neighbors and boss should quit being mean. Buncha jerks.

I'm sorry I'm being so whiny. I just really overdid it today.

I want to say both that that's plenty of time and I totally get the anxiety about it!

We just secured a caterer but we still need to figure out what they will be serving the food on (that is, they just do the food and the service, we need to get/rent cutlery, dishes, glasses etc.). And our thing is less than a month after yours and, gah, so many people.

Anyway, I hope you find something with little pain and that makes you very happy soon!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm sorry I'm being so whiny. I just really overdid it today.

sj, I'm sorry your wedding dress hunt is not going as smoothly as you would hope.

sj, does it have to be silk?

Compassionately intolerant

sj, rest up and hydrate to clear out the overdidits...then relax and try again.

I ran into the first bride I ever married today, which reminded me of the gorgeous amethyst dress she wore. She found it at Macy's for $125, a couple of days before the wedding. She was ridiculously happy with it and the wedding photos were awesome.

If it didn't happen today, it will soon!

Best test was 12.4, cut off is 12.5. I haven't taken my vitamins (with iron) this week, so ya know, maybe if I actually do take them regularly, next time they are here, I'll be ready for them.

Whoa, Andi! You are SO much closer than I was. Bless you for trying and good luck on your future attempt.

The blood drive I talked about mounting in April will probably now happen in May, in conjunction with the local business owner's association. They are killer marketers and the drive will be part of a 'personal renovation' contest we are mounting. It should get a LOT of blood into the system. Yay.

sj, did you try J.Crew?

[link]

They have a lot of silk and a lot in stock. Not all of it is through the roof expensive.
