Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

All kinds of ~ma for Ray and DCJ's mom, Plei's dad, and askye's family.

have the finest hair around and went no-poo for a while. I had more body than ever

Really?? I have way fine hair and have been scared of no shampoo. Thought my hair would get too greasy and weighted down.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

~ma for Plei's dad.

Peaceful passing~ma for Askye's grandma. So sorry you and your family are going through this.

Thrive to spite them

~ma to Dan's mom and her BF Ray, and to Plei's dad.

WS thanks. It's sad and hard on a lot of different levels, it's really hard knowing she's in pain, and it's sad because she's so close to the end. But, as Mom says, we've been mourning the loss of G'ma for several years now, she's here, but she isn't the same woman she was before the dementia.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

In happier news, Aims, have you seen this?

Ha! I had not. When I opened the picture, I gasped a little bit and Emeline asked me what I was looking at.

Me: "A guy mommy likes. Wanna see?"
Em: "Sure!"
I show her the computer screen.
Em: "Uh, mommy? You can't marry that guy."
Me: "Why not?"
Em: "Cause he's gonna marry someone else, I think."
Me: "Oh yeah? Who's he going to marry?"
Em: "Me."

Apple and tree: Not too far from each other.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

And in the continuing crazy that is my mother, she's apparently now planning an exorcism (she's calling it a Mass) of her house. There are apparently dead spirits hanging around that are trying to take others with them, thereby explaining her recent car accident.

Look, I am pretty woo-woo and witchy, and even I think that's a trifle on the overreacting side.

~ma for your Dad, Plei.

askye, I'm sorry your family is going through this.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

askye, we went through the same thing with my dad's mom. It was what she explicitly stated she never wanted to happen to her, and it did.

The end was, in many ways, a relief. It was still awful and sad, but a lot like her being released from jail for a crime this sweet lady never committed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

OTOH, if the exorcism works, maybe you can get her to do something about your other matter...

Ha! I had not. When I opened the picture, I gasped a little bit and Emeline asked me what I was looking at.

Even I gasped a little bit and he doesn't tend to ping me much, beyond the dark hair/light eyes combo that I'm such a sucker for.

And Emeline's response killed me DED. Aims as Mrs. Robinson. Ha!
