[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And because a separate post is definitely warranted -

~ma to Ray for DCJ and his mom, and Seska, wreck those assholes.

“Not dead yet!”

Barb, since she's spending so much time being... so very Tea Party about this ... I gather a new book from her will be forthcoming later rather than sooner? what a PITA.

She just released a new book in October, Sox. With a cover that, as Abby put it, "That dude looks like he has radioactive alien fungus--that sparkles--growing on his shoulder. What's that about?"

I also happened across a recent interview where she was asked what other things she's interested in writing and she said, and I quote, "I'd like to try my hand at some erotica and YA."

Okay, then.

"I'd like to try my hand at some erotica and YA."

Our wings are not tired.

Sending the ~ma for Ray and loved ones.

Ugh, Jars. Been there. In fact just yesterday I was pulled over because my auto tag had expired - 16 months ago! How did I manage that? Fortunately only a $10 fine.

Barb, I keep shaking my head in disbelieve every time I see this situation mentioned. I can't even come up with a response. Crazy making.

Health wishes for those that needs them.

That happened to me last year. It's easy to forget this sort of thing now and again.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Barb, she is really bringing crazy to a whole new level.

I am hating everyone today (buffistas not included of course) no one can freakin return a phone call, find a reservation, answer an e-mail, or just generally do what they say they are going to do.

Crazy, barb. Good lord.

Jars, I've done that. Normally I remember soon enough, but one January my landlord did call asking if there was a problem? And I was like "omg, no, I just totally forgot!" luckily it was a private landlord, who was chill about it (and I'd always paid on time before).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Vortex - insent if you are able.

Yeah, ours is a similar situation, except I was much less truthful and pretended it was a bank error. Everyone hates banks, right?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

You'll be cool, Jars, as long as you have the money, and didn't spend it on hookers and blow. My landlady just tacked on $25 if I was late. Which I was, a few times. And it sucked.

Barb, I hope you include some legalese in your reply that details EXACTLY how she cannot use her name or marketing in any YA market, as OBVIOUSLY this is your market, and it might confuse your sorry little readers headses, and impinge on your marketability and sales.

Ugh.
