Give 'em hell, Seska.
'Beneath You'
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Vortex does have a unique ability to see to the heart of the problem, and an elegant way with a hammer.
Sort their socks, Seska.
Get 'em, Seska!
Good on you, Seska.
I need motivation. Spent the weekend up in Sturgeon Bay in a lovely house on the bay, saw the Packers stomp the Cowboys last night, and now I need to gear up to clean this place up and hit the road for the four-hour drive back to Chicago. Don't wanna.
Dude, some kid just nearly called the pound on me for leaving Frankie outside the store for FIVE MINUTES. It's 50 degrees, he has a sweater, and oh yeah, fur. Am I nuts? That's acceptable; right?
He was worried about the cold? That's kind of nuts.
In my old neighborhood there was a terrible problem with dogs being stolen from outside of stores by dog-fighting operations. Ghastly. I got largely out of the habit of doing that at the time, and would occasionally wait with a dog that was tied up just to give the owner a heads-up if they didn't know.
That's good, Vortex, although I'm writing my own strongly-worded complaint to the university, and it's a long one.
It should be! I was trying to be British in my response, as you all tend to be nicer than we are here :)
Just realized it's two weeks, one day until book release.
Just realized it's the reason I'm in perpetual state of nausea.
Carry on.
Hey Ple!
You can see Molly Dodd on YouTube, including my pick for the most romantic TV moment of all-time. David Straitharn as Moss (who I now realize probably had Asperger's) and Blair Brown as Molly, discuss bookstore business and Ingrid Bergman.

Oh dear lord, remind me never to move there, I'd send them all screaming! I have a hard enough time with the West Coast, where they are rather less aggro than the East (or, as I like to think of it, way less straightforward, direct, and prompt, in their language!)
AIMS! My elevator told me the British Monarchy has a facebook page [link]
Depends on where on the West Coast you are, meara. I've heard of the famous "Seattle Freeze". However, I can assure you that in the West Side of LA, they have no trouble being aggro.
