'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Anne! Received and backflung. It did go to spam.

Right. Work. Trying to find stuff on similar job training programs, having no luck as of yet.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, amyth. I hope things turn around for your brother soon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Amazon has gift suggestion lists organized by family member -- "Mom," "Dad," "Wife/Girlfriend," "Husband/Boyfriend," and so on. I just went through them, and I realized that the list that has the most stuff that I would actually be happy to get is the "Grandma" list. Though I can't figure out why the Dangerous Book for Boys is on that one. And I think Errol Flynn might be surprised to find Robin Hood classified as a "Chick Flick" in the "Wife/Girlfriend" section.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, amyth, how hard.

electric keyboard

Yay! Weighted keys are important. But even more important is touch sensitivity. The cheapest electric keyboards lack this, and it really matters to your playing because you can't play dynamics without touch sensitivity.

Windsparrow, thank goodness for you! You are such an amazing person.

I had something else I wanted to respond to but have lost it and will need to scroll back. My short term memory is completely shot from my three days of suicide prevention seminars. (About which I will tell you more later, but see above re: brane, cannot.) I was watching the ball game with the SO and I missed a key play. "What happened?" I inquired. "It looked me away!"

He was all, uh, well, the ball the player looked him away. Hee. It was funny because I knew it was wrong but couldn't figure out how. And then I was like, "It's like ataxia, man." But of course I meant "aphasia."

So yeah. I'm tired. Lemme see what else I meant to talk about.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I got nothing. I have no idea. I even had it in my head where I could fake quote it like "electric keyboard" so I didn't have to go back and cut and paste, but there's nothing, y'all. Time to try to sleep again, methinks.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Liese, you sound emotionally and physically exhausted. I hope you get some high quality rest. You are amazing for taking so much time and effort for suicide prevention - will you be incorporating this in your regular work (sorry, I can't recall what you do) or are you planning on volunteering for a hotline or some such?
