Hey! What a surprise! Hostile 17! Can I get you a drink, Hostile 17?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

But vegan I can't do, I eat wayyyy too much cheese.
Can I subscribe to your newsletter? And does it come with free samples?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

The Girl won't eat anything she wouldn't touch. It's an odd rule, but it seems to work for her.

This morning I have: caught up on my feminist theory (I might be teaching a Feminism in Society course next semester as an associate lecturer, if I can get through an interview), done some disability activism for the new group I'm volunteering for as research coordinator, and worked on my PhD proposal (formal approval has to be given by a committee in January) - all before getting out of bed. I'm off to my dad's for the weekend now. Darkest Hampshire, I have missed you!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Have fun, Seska!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I came back to a really nice tweet about my album from a major animation industry account.

Dude, that is so frickin' cool!

Also, eagerly awaiting Miracleman on YouTube, but especially Miracleman here.

And {{{brenda}}}.

Slowly rousing myself; in a couple of hours I'm going to go proctor a pre-bar exam exam, while Hec, Matilda and Emmett (who just had another growth spurt and is now taller than me) go to see Megamind.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

But vegan I can't do, I eat wayyyy too much cheese.

I went vegan for Lent once. I don't think I've ever been that surly before in my life. My then roommate begged me to never do it again.

Don't let those lawyer-wanna-bees cheat on their ethics exam, JZ!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good morning. Went right to bed after my last post. bonny, I just had bad stomach cramps, but I seem to have slept them off.

The rescue where I got Frankie is supposed to have their big fundraiser today, and I've been excited about it for a month, and it's pouring down cold rain. Poopy.

Never fear, I have an epic shit-ton of indoor things to do, including work stuff and budgety things and a whooole lotta cleaning.

Our wings are not tired.

Hello Bitches!

I'm most comfortable as a pescatarian. I've done vegetarian and vegan, but my love of cheese and eating in restaurants with a choice of more than one menu item wins. I'll likely still go through periods where I stop eating fish. And it is likely I will always make a bacon exception on occasion, because of the yum.

Still working too hard. Also, really excited to open windows and turn off the A/C again!! Woo! It is 60F this morning. Don't know how long the cold snap will last, but I'll enjoy it. I'm using my extra hour this weekend to catch up with Buffistas. Missing you.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My sister and her family are currently in our guest room. (This is the sibling with the little boy who suffered an aneurysm.) we invited them down because I think it's been a while since they had a chance to get away other than to the children's hospital in Sydney. One of our brothers came over too. It's been a good evening (we spent a goodly portion of it bitching about our stepmother.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My family has to stay at least until tomorrow because of the funeral, but their car is malfunctioning, so it may be until Monday or later. Save me.
