Writing a death notice for this family, which is a morass of divorces and estrangements, is like negotiating a minefield and paying for each step.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sympathies, David.
That is a tough situation, Hec. Peace~ma to all who knew and loved him.
Sending out the ma~~~ to all. I read and thought , but never commented.
Ginger, I'm so sorry. Especially when the rituals of death are more traumatizing than the event itself.
David, that's horrible. Prayers to his family and his community.
Spidra, ugh. I cannot imagine having to deal with the unresolved parent-child dynamics in my own family in such an close and suffocating manner. Hell, I moved to New Orleans to increase the geography. Hang in there, I hope like hell that you're able to break away or somehow otherwise find some peace in the situation.
Amy, continued ~ma during the surgical recovery.
Nothing much going on this front except it is freezing in the office and I am so relieved it's Friday! Oh, and it's my grandma's 94th birthday today. Poor Grandma- she's been in the nursing home since September and it doesn't look like she will ever be leaving. Any spare ~ma for a peaceful passing would be most appreciated - I know she is not happy with spending her life like this. She's a trooper though.
Oh, sorry to hear that, Nora. Hugs for you, and peaceful-passing~ma for your grandmother.
I'm sorry Spidra, and wish I had something more helpful to say.
Peaceful passing, for your grams, Nora.
Peaceful passing to your gramdma, Nora. It is hard.
Oh, sorry to hear about your grandma, Nora.
Also, to the people who keep coming into my office - I do not know where this meeting is. I have told you that. I have told you that other people have asked and I haven't known when they asked. I just work in my office, I don't schedule the building. I would put up a sign, but I know that people wouldn't read it, and when they asked their stupid question anyway, I would be hostile. I know this from experience (both the stupidity and the hostility)
EaRtHqUaKe!!!!
2 miles from my apartment. 3.8 on the scale. No damage. REALLY short. [link]
How annoying, omnis. Does the landlord pay your water bill? If it's the landlord, they should have extra incentive to make the maintenance person get his act together.Yes, they pay for water. Which was what the repair dude said in the morning "It's not like you are paying for the water". But dude, we live in an area that is in constant near drought conditions. We shouldn't just throw water away. I've turned off the valve to not waste water (or make annoying noise of water constantly flowing/dripping).
