I'm glad they found the source of your husband's pain, Connie. I hope they get it treated well post haste.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Serial:
Just forced myself to ask a pro for an informational interview. I've been scared stiff about dipping back into VO because I can't afford classes at the moment. Classes are an easier way to get back in the industry and aware of its rhythms. So much has changed since I last took a class (like there are a lot more home studio submissions) that I'm afraid I'm going to blow my reputation before I have a chance to make that reputation.
I desperately need this to work. I don't have that many other jobs I can possibly do with my skillset, background and disability.
Those are so you, Trudy.
Aren't they redic?
I wasn't going to get My Very First Docs until after I manage the foot surgery, but I decided to strike while the kitteh was hot.

And in petty news, I'd really appreciate it if people would stop honking from their cars in order to call for someone in the street/house. Especially at 23:14.

Yeah, people would do that at all hours of day/night when I lived across the street from a crack house.
My old neighborhood in Minneapolis got much quieter after that crack house burned down. Too bad this was after I left.
Four days in a field (at the Greenbelt festival) later, and I'm 550 posts behind. Great weekend, though!
We still don't own a house. I'm looking at the schedule of things we have to do on the house before the end of September and wondering whether I can move into a place without a stairlift or ramps yet. I could sleep in the driveway, maybe...
Health~ma for Drew, amyth's brother and Connie's husband.

Ah, people. So considerate.
As far as I know, I do not live next to a crack house. I do, however, live next to some yellish (yelling and hellish) teenagers. Well, some of them are adults too. Anyhow, my family reckons there's some of weird mutation in genetics going on there. It's almost unbelievable how loud they can get by merely talking to each other. Their "talking" is my "shouting".
Edit: Accessible House~ma for you and TG, Seska.
The druggies I used to live next to were very quiet and if they didn't have so many visitors that stayed for five or ten minutes and vacuum all the time, I might never have guessed.
Thanks. It'll be accessible. It just might not get made accessible until after I start my PhD. *nail-biting*
