I have been out and about foraging for leftover candy at local stores.

So far I have determined that either I hit the wrong stores or there was a chocolate shortage on Halloween.

Confusing girl is annoying. So, shed said yes to dinner on weds, and invited me to some pill-selling thing for tonight. And then today texts me saying she has to cancel dinner tomorrow because she's tired (for tomorrow?). I eventually text back "enjoy your juice thing, I'm going to watch election returns". Figuring that way she can chill and not worry about seeing me. She texts back asking if I voted, and did I get her text about canceling tomorrow? Um, WTF?

I don't like confusing girl anymore.

In stunning news, I am really freaking tired. Also, I have GOT to do a better job of feeding and hydrating myself, because I turn into a massive bitch at the end of the day, with a side of stupid.

More sllllllooooooooowwwww progress on the raised beds today. My dad got started lifting the St. Augustine out of the place where one bed is going and using it to fill another place he lifted from. The rest of the parts arrived from the manufacturer and they gave us 2 extra pieces, which is better than the 2 pieces they shorted us last time.

Started building the 2nd bed up by myself carrying only one block of wood at a time and being very careful. I realized I'd been operating on the assumption that the 22" height was 3 boards high and had calculated our soil needs based on that. It turns out it's 4 boards high. So we should have done one more soil run yesterday. I don't want to bug the construction site again so I'm going to have to purchase more manure/compost. Which except for the added cost isn't a bad thing. This is good sandy soil but it's poor in organic materials.

I HOPE it's finished tomorrow. We need to find the right size drill bit and finish drilling a hole on a defective piece we received. Then I have to get my Dad to shovel the piled-high soil into the 2nd bed. I mix the manure in while that's happening. Then I can finally plant the plants that have been straining at their pots for 3 weeks now.
