So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Sunday Night Football's going to be fun to watch if only because it's in New Orleans. Needless to say, the Superdome is full of even more colorful characters than usual.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Do they always do that inane credit sequence? Is it always Faith Hill?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Various nieces and nephews are over tonight. I'm up in my room for the peace & quiet.

I just came back from a trip to Altadena's Super King Market where I hoped to find the figs on a string my dad loves. They didn't have them. But they had loads of other interesting groceries. I wish we had one of those in easy biking distance of our house.

I bought some tiramisù for my mom. She said tiramisù doesn't do much for her. I'm going to revoke her Italian card.

Since I had the car and it was in the neighborhood, I visited the Altadena Community Garden as well. I took pictures and talked to one of the gardeners there. I'm trying to gather pictures and information that might sway our city councilpeople when the issue goes to the council.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Dang, Spidra, that's a pretty busy day! I hereby declare that you have earned a night of peace hiding in your room with candy and a book. Anyone knocks? Just hide under the covers. They can't see you there on Halloween.

Yes. And yes. I think they need to replace it with the Jane Lynch version.

My mom was perilously close to "forcing (me) to be social" but I tried to explain that that might backfire. I'm still wiped out from all the physical chore stuff yesterday so I'm sure my temper is shorter than usual.

Now I shall EAT ALL THE TIRAMISÚS!

How are you tonight, erin?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

someday I'll make tiramisu from scratch. The restaurant where I used to work (which was Spanish amd therefore made bizcocho boracho) dipped the biscuits in tia maria, kahlua and espresso.

I'm glad my mom declined because this tiramisú wouldn't change her mind. While Super King Market does a lot of ethnic flavors, they don't do Italian very well.

Bizcocho boracho sounds good!

I've made a low-glycemic version of tiramisú from scratch (not low fat but low sugar), but I haven't ever made the real thing.

I went to a party last night, work today, and am now getting ready to go stand in a cold cemetary for a few hours. Already taken tomorrow off for recovery :)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Just home from the theatre. I realized that I've spent about 7 hours awake at home since Wednesday. Thursday and Friday at the theatre (came home, futzed about for about an hour and a half each night), then up Saturday and to the theatre for the matinee, then home to jump in the shower and change/dress up for the wedding dinner. Was on the way into my building from dinner, remembered that my neighbor was having a Halloween party, so stopped by there for a few hours, then to bed. Up today and made some breakfast and futzed for a few hours, then off to the theatre until . . . now.

I'm TAHRD.
