Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My kids are off to their respective TorT locations, and I'm here to grade and give out candy, although the candy skews a bit later in our neighborhood, usually 6:30-8 or so. After the candy is gone I figure it's lights out time.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What Laga said.

damnit.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Aww now I feel like a wuss for making a big deal out of a 2 hour round trip. But now we have more people coming over and I'm the only one who will help out in the kitchen so I don't feel like I can sneak out. wah! I have no problem with procrastinating on the computer, though.

“Not dead yet!”

Sunday Night Football's going to be fun to watch if only because it's in New Orleans. Needless to say, the Superdome is full of even more colorful characters than usual.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Do they always do that inane credit sequence? Is it always Faith Hill?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Various nieces and nephews are over tonight. I'm up in my room for the peace & quiet.

I just came back from a trip to Altadena's Super King Market where I hoped to find the figs on a string my dad loves. They didn't have them. But they had loads of other interesting groceries. I wish we had one of those in easy biking distance of our house.

I bought some tiramisù for my mom. She said tiramisù doesn't do much for her. I'm going to revoke her Italian card.

Since I had the car and it was in the neighborhood, I visited the Altadena Community Garden as well. I took pictures and talked to one of the gardeners there. I'm trying to gather pictures and information that might sway our city councilpeople when the issue goes to the council.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Dang, Spidra, that's a pretty busy day! I hereby declare that you have earned a night of peace hiding in your room with candy and a book. Anyone knocks? Just hide under the covers. They can't see you there on Halloween.

Yes. And yes. I think they need to replace it with the Jane Lynch version.

My mom was perilously close to "forcing (me) to be social" but I tried to explain that that might backfire. I'm still wiped out from all the physical chore stuff yesterday so I'm sure my temper is shorter than usual.

Now I shall EAT ALL THE TIRAMISÚS!

How are you tonight, erin?

someday I'll make tiramisu from scratch. The restaurant where I used to work (which was Spanish amd therefore made bizcocho boracho) dipped the biscuits in tia maria, kahlua and espresso.
