'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

It's really hard to get the zombies to reliably turn out in large numbers on election day.

I don't know...my experience standing in line at the polling place last time seems to disprove this.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm not sure I'm allowed to vote this time. I was never registered in DC or Louisiana -- I always voted absentee in New Jersey, which the rules said was OK, since I was in school. But I moved to PA just a little while before the deadline to register here, and I didn't get my forms in on time. But I'm not living in NJ anymore, and I haven't been in school for two months, so I don't think I can vote absentee there, either.

(All-absentee states, your experiences may be different.)

Have you ever tried to get a zombie to put a stamp on something?!?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

If the crime bosses would follow through on their promises of Brainsssssss for Votessssss, they'd be rocking the polls.

How about a platform of outlawing baseball bats and chainsaws!

The reason? A date with the Much Younger Family Jeweler.

“Not dead yet!”

Tell me about it.

Remember-- this is the same woman who wanted me to write the story of her relationship with my father, to which I responded, "I don't write science fiction, Ma."

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Lots of ~ma to everyone that needs it. (I am not naming names because I foolishly didn't meara and I am positive I'll forget someone.)

Maria had to take my mother shopping this morning, since the woman refuses to stay put the way she's been ordered to.

t does a double-take But I've been in DC all day....

And now Maria's traumatized because when she was loading the bags into her car, she happened to catch a glimpse inside one of them and spotted a box of Summer's Eve.

o.O t is really glad she's been in DC all day

No, really, it took me 30 seconds to figure out that this is not referring to me.

I just... I have no words.

Neither do I. Sorry, m'dear.

I'm not sure I'm allowed to vote this time.

I don't think you can either. It's a shame too. PA has very close gubernatorial and senatorial races where every vote is necessary.

Awww, Glam! What a happy cutie boy! (And his moms are very glam worthy too.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thanks, man. We are pretty pleased with the little guy. His personality is really starting to assert itself. It's fun to watch.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Just finished filling out my absentee ballot. LA does it differently. There's a scantron form so you have to screw your eyes up good to make sure you're marking the # that corresponds to your intended vote. Phooey.

Consulted SF Bay Guardian, East Bay Express, LA Times, Pasadena Weekly, League of Women Voters and SmartVoter.org

I particularly appreciate the SmartVoter.org site because they cover races that the papers seem to think are too small to matter. Yet it's things like State Board of Equalization and County Assessor that I know the least about.
