Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

However, I finally got tomato sauce, after forgetting it the last three times I went grocery shopping.

I was going to ask.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Always Anti-fascist!

If life were a romantic comedy, and we love people who repulse us, I just met my new boyfriend. I'm so excited. Why did I get that Facebook page again?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Beautiful cat.

Just got back to my room and computer. My aunt sent me a frantic email that her dock disappeared. Looking it up, it seems like a weird bug with solutions that include deleting the prefs and going into Terminal and typing commands. My aunt is kinda technophobic so I'm not looking forward to doing this over either email or phone. I have a feeling it's just going to be a lot of frustration and then she'll end up having to hire someone local to her anyway. I wish I knew how to operate Remote Desktop between her computer and mine.

smonster, that sounds like one helluva day. I hope you don't hurt too badly or at least that it doesn't last long.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Good luck, smonster. And if you want to come by tomorrow for water bottles, come on by.

{{Fred Pete and Hubs and Marie}} So sorry.

Congrats, Shir!

~ma all around: Scrappy's aunt, Raq's friend, Maria, Barb's mom, general love thrown in Sean's direction, even if you don't see it.

Kate, I hope that your landlord gets off his butt and fixes your leak. I miss you guys already!

Was out until 10PM sorting through 24 bags of trash with my Capstone class. They did a dirty job fabulously well. I'm so proud. Sadly, I dropped my beloved (SO beloved) 1st gen iPhone on the loading dock and shattered the glass. The time has come for us to part ways, after all these years. I'm slogging through our final sync right now. It feels very meaningful.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Smonster, I'm sorry you had a rough day.

I'm freaking out about everything and nothing all at once. I wish I could just relax and enjoy the fact that I'm getting married soon. I really need to call the SS office tomorrow and tell them I'm getting married. Really don't want to. They have a way of always making me feel like crap.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So a couple years ago my mom got a hip replacement.

The hip prosthesis she got? Just got recalled.

They're doing tests now to make sure nothing's terribly wrong. I don't know if she'll have to get another surgery or something. Some hip~ma, if you will?

In other news, I responded to her e-mail thusly:

Are you kidding me? Of all the prosthetic hips in all the world...no wonder it didn't seem like it helped. Grr. I hope nothing's too wrong.

She responded thusly:

NO I'M NOT KIDDING......I JUST DID THE BLODD TEST AND X-RAY AND MRI ARE IN NOV...

I think we have communication issues.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Wow, P-C. Sending hip~ma her way.
