Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Sorry the allergies are messing you up. I hope that resolves for the better soon.

The Twitterer for The Chuck Jones Center just tweeted that they'd heard my album and were buying it for their private collection. Also, Issue 3 of Zelda magazine just came out and that will have my first (and likely only) print ad for this album so I'm excited about that. Two nice things in one day!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

::sigh:: So, a friend talked some sense into me, and I've emailed B. to let him know that it's probably not a good idea for me to come meet him in NOLA. As much fun as it would be, I'm just getting too old for this long-distance ill-fated crush thing. I'll come down some other time. Hopefully I'll get over it at some point, at least enough to hang out without getting all googly eyed.

::sigh::

Bed time for me.

Yay Spidra! Very cool.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Spidra, that is awesome!

smonster, that is...responsible, but depressing? I'm sorry.

Beth, remember to read slower than usual. People get nervous and speed up and can't "hear" it, so if you read slow enough that you think you are reading too slow, it's probably about right.

That's very good advice, Erin. I second that!

Ah, smonster... crushes can be fun but many of us get crushed by them. It probably is the better part of valour to live to crush another day.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I thought I'd go through and mark some places to pause.

It took me about 20 minutes to read. I think 30 should be closer to how long it should take. I need the time to think about some of these words before I say them

I don't get frozen stage fright, but positive I am getting sick - yup. really restless just before, yup. or wondering if I can take a nap. or suddenly hoping no one will show. and this happens even before my story time... which I've been doing forever.

Take deliberate pauses to take a drink, and pause every three paras to look at a different part of the audience.

Or pretend to be Poe and drink copiously before and during.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Cashmere, dude, you crash into the OTHER team.
