If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm so sorry, Sox.

SA, it's good to see you.

I just ordered my new computer. I had been planning to wait until my next paycheck, but the CD drive eating the printer installation disk was the last straw.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

She was lucky to have you as her people, Sox.

I'm so terribly sorry.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It sounds like she had a lovely life and was lucky to have found her family in you, Sox. I am very sorry for your loss.

and for any portlanders here: don't attempt to drive to sauvie island today. or really, anywhere on st helens road. lots of traffic back ups, accidents, and road closures.

Yikes.

not your mom's socks.

Thanks so much, everyone. It's really nice to be able to mark her life among a group of friends who get how much that means - thank you for that. There is a bunch of other stuff going on here right now, and everything is all jumbled, so I appreciate the support.

Any gardens near by that you can walk/sit in spidra? I know it isn't the same as working in one, but it might help.

I'm completely confused. At the beginning of this week it was hot. today cold ad rainy.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sox, much peace and love to you all. I can't even imagine our house without the animals, and I'm glad your pup had so many wonderful years of being wanted and adored.

SA, nice to see your pixels.

amych! YAY! I am so freakin' excited for you!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Nothing real close by but if I had thought of it early enough, I would have gone to Descanso Gardens today. Might go tomorrow if I'm up early enough. Bought some seed starter mix and a seed tray today so I can start up some stuff. Should give me at least a couple weeks before they have to be planted out.

Today was mellow by comparison to yesterday. If my scalene muscles had relented I would even have called it a good day. :)
