Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Having one of those 'where's that truck that ran over me?' days. Possibly because I helped The Girl build a wardrobe and then wandered round Ikea yesterday. Was mistake. I always knew Ikea was evil.

erin_o, here's hoping your flare sorts itself out soon. FMS sucks.

Spidra, sorry about the sucky day. I hope today's better.

Yay great job, Shir! But sorry about not being able to stay home and watch the telly. Where's that technology allowing us to be in two places at once? It needs inventing.

Have a less tired/headachey day today, smonster.

I woke up in lots of pain this morning, but thankfully prescription strength naproxen seems to have worked all day--I managed to take dance lessons all day (though I pooped out about ten minutes before the end of the last one and went to take a nap). And then went to the evening dance from 830 til 1am (though I didn't dance every dance). An had enough energy to enjoy making out with a cute girl. Yay!! Stopped in at the afterparty, but classes start again at 10am so am off to sleep...class all day tomorrow, maybe a date, and dancing at night. Wheee!

Sorry you woke up in pain, meara, but yay prescriptions!

Heh. Pain is a rather expected price for all this dancing! I'm just hoping to make it to the end--last year I was soooo done by Sunday night. And I have work to do on Monday and can't sleep all day like I'm sure I'll want to!

How does the universe gets away with most of our wants and needs, I do not know, let me tell you that.

Dude, where's my teleporter?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Shir, you could load said Waterfalls episodes onto an iPad and take that to work. Just an idea.

iPad? Who's that iPad you speak of? Is she prettier than me?

Gently reminds that Apple tech doesn't like Israel very much. iPhones are a rare, rare thing to spot around.

I'm sure Apple would love to sell in Israel. I'm guessing it's the other way around. But can't say for certain. You could get the iPad with just wi-fi.

And no, IT is not prettier than you.

So, in a strange twist of, "really? @@". I was streaming INTO THE WOODS, as that is the next big show at work, and thought it easier than reading the thing. Fell asleep to it twice (as I woke again, I restarted about where I left off). Now it's 5am, and I am ready for bed... but no longer tired. And no, I didn't sleep that much, maybe 20ish minutes with each nod-off. Gotta love it, right?

Oh look! iPad is now allowed in Israel: [link]

Huh, didn't realize there was a European and American standards for wi-fi.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sounds like you earned your pain, and had a brilliant time doing so, meara.

As for me, I managed to get a decent night's sleep without taking either Benedryl or Mucinex. Plus the signs that might tend to indicate sinus infection? Cleared up. Still have a scratchy throat, but my voice almost sounds normal. I'm calling it a win.
