Dang, I want to hang with Nora in NO one of these days. She knows how to spend a night out.
I'm always up for it! Well, when I don't have to go to work the next day. I'm still nursing a hangover. But worth it!
My friend's son's band has provided some excellent opportunities to get out and play. Whooo, New Orleans music!
I have been using the same shower gel from Lush for a few years now (Happy Hippy; it's very grapefruity). But my loyalty has been swayed to a new(ish) scent they have: Grass. So. Much. Love.
They also gave me a sample of Dark Angels, which I used tonight, and my skin is all smooth and soft. I like! I use Coalface every day, and Dark Angels is similar to it, except it isn't a soap like Coalface; it's a squooshy, scrub-y dealie.
ION, I was snoozing and missed a call from amych (boo!), so I have to get back with her and figure out plans for tomorrow, since we already have plans for tonight.
Tep - is your stomach being nicer to you yet?
Why is family a good thing, again?
What I've been saying for eons. Chosen family has been good to me.
Sean, I've met you, more than once, and spent time with you. We've talked online. I am exceedingly fond of you. If I knew you better I'd love you more. That female is riddled with errors in judgement and sense. You are loved and valued, please don't doubt that.

I ate some rice earlier, and it all stayed put, so despite some continued grumbling, it's at least maintaining an even keel.
Lush and other scent-merchants need to come up with a workable scratch-n-sniff app for computer.
Out for a drive yesterday we passed farms where they're cutting hayfields. The smell of cut grass is intoxicating, I love it so much. If I could find a body butter that captured that scent I'd buy it.
Yay, AIMS on the test slayage!
Got out and about today to a local(ish) library-- some friends were speaking on a panel and I wanted to go be supportive. Turned out to be a good thing because a) got to see friends, b) got to meet the librarians who are super author friendly/supportive (and the teen librarian recognized my name and bless her, was appalled she didn't know I was now a local- bless!) and c) got to talk to a teen writing group that the teen services librarian has organized and they were so adorable and so excited to be talking to real writers.
It made me feel really good about what I do and helped me shore up the defenses for what I'm dealing with.
I'm glad you got the support and validation you deserve, Barb.
Headache has abated but fatigue is setting in, so despite having only been up for about 9 hours, I'm walking the pup and heading back to bed. Lots to do tomorrow.
Great that you got that boost, Barb!
Sleep tight, smonster.
Good night to you, too, Spidra.
