WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO, FIRE YOU?
Heh. That has been my refrain for all kinds of shit the last few weeks. But you know, I do want to maintain these friendships and stuff. There's plenty I'm not going to finish, I know that (like, say, getting the 12 pallets of ceiling tile in our warehouse recycled). I just want to at least leave a roadmap.
And so I think I'm going to have to come in on Saturday, FFS. Oh, well, it's my own doing. Still, it'll make 4 of the last 5 weekends I've worked.
Timelies!
Back from my sojourn to the Bay Area and therefore back to fairly regular internet access. Skipping thousands of posts on the board because even I can't possibly catch up with that. So forgive any cluelessness on my part. It's going to take a little while to catch up.
Thanks to Hec and JZ for their hospitality on Saturday!
Long but good day. Crashing to bed soon.
And OMFG, I really need sports bra for swing dancing. I wore cleavage today and that was Big Mistake. I remember someone (ita?) recommend on a specific brand. What was it?
It was fun, Spidra! I love breaking out the old-timey cartoons and reveling in the weird bygone tropes and hand-drawn glories. And we didn't even have time to get around to going through the old black and white Betty Boops in all their superlative proto-Tim Burton freakiness.
This is my bra of choice, Shir.
Is Teppy or someone with Google-fu around? I'm weeping because I can't stand coughing any more, and I can't figure out if it is safe to take more Mucinex (guifenesin 400mg/dextromethorphan Hbr 20mg). OTC label says 1 tab every 4 hrs. I'm not clear-headed enough to find maximum prescription dosage info.
Usually at this point I would make a hot toddy and let the lemon, honey, and whiskey augment the meds, but my stomach is turning at the thought of it.
Did you say this attack was allergy-related, WS? Maybe try a benadryl to knock out the reaction? Sorry, I have no knowledge about Mucinex, I just know that when my allergies send me into coughing spasms edging toward an asthma attack, a benadryl (combined with my inhaler) helps.
Andi, is it in tablet form, or gelcap, or what?
