Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Is Teppy or someone with Google-fu around? I'm weeping because I can't stand coughing any more, and I can't figure out if it is safe to take more Mucinex (guifenesin 400mg/dextromethorphan Hbr 20mg). OTC label says 1 tab every 4 hrs. I'm not clear-headed enough to find maximum prescription dosage info.
Usually at this point I would make a hot toddy and let the lemon, honey, and whiskey augment the meds, but my stomach is turning at the thought of it.
Andi, give me a minute.
Did you say this attack was allergy-related, WS? Maybe try a benadryl to knock out the reaction? Sorry, I have no knowledge about Mucinex, I just know that when my allergies send me into coughing spasms edging toward an asthma attack, a benadryl (combined with my inhaler) helps.
Andi, is it in tablet form, or gelcap, or what?
Thanks, Teppy.
Epic, I do think it started with allergies. I think there may be a bit of secondary sinusitis leading to post-nasal drip and the subsequent coughing. I've been taking Claritin regularly, and Actifed pretty steadily the last few days. The Benedryl will make me even dopier, so I'm waiting on bedtime for that.
As always, I catch up and finally have time to post a bit...in time to go home.
Andi, I hope you're feeling much better soon.
And now, homework...anyone feel like turning a 9-page paper into a 25-30 page paper for me? Anyone?
Andi, is it in tablet form, or gelcap, or what?

ETA: correction of label info.

Well, that's just mean. Fibbers.
