Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Yay, Pambiche! Did you move, erin_o? I've been so spotty on the board (except this past week) that I didn't realize.

Hello Maria! Good to see you!

Calli took me grocery shopping, so my freezer is once again stocked with Trader Joe's quiches, so I can make it through another work week.

Our wings are not tired.

amyth, I barely eat any TJs stuff anymore, BUT I have found that I love their "flatbread" pizza-ish things. You just reminded me that I need to buy more. They're the perfect host for sauteed or roasted veggies. MUCH better than any of the TJ's actual frozen pizzas (to me, anyway).

Oh. My. God! I got the photo report back for new pictures. EVERYONE hates the Tux photo. Across the board. All age types, introverts, extroverts, nerds, jocks, everyone! Although, I wonder how much stock I should take in a test results that have labels as "Girls 31+, Girls 23-30.." Um. Women! I don't want to date a girl. I want a woman! Whatever.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went to the grocery store. Bought a bunch of quick stuff, some salad stuff, and also some stuff for making a few crockpot dishes, because I figure that coming home to a hot meal might be nice. Though I probably should have picked a different week for that -- last week was in the sixties and seventies, but this week is supposed to go up to the nineties.

Those TJ's quiches keep me alive. It's actually become a joke at work among smonster and the office manager and the interns: amyth's going to nuke another quiche! Never let it be said that I'm not a creature of habit.

You have good taste. Which reminds me. I'm out of quiche.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay, Pambiche! Did you move, erin_o?

In Portland.

I am hungry now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

EVERYONE hates the Tux photo.

I do not understand these words.

Mostly lurking...

I've taken to loving to whip up my own quiches--with a nice hash brown crust. They whip up pretty quickly and feed me for at least four meals, sometimes more. Love them.

I think I'm done for the day. This is evidenced by the Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade I've started. The next couple of weeks will be long and crazy. I'm gonna let myself take the rest of today. Buffy time!

(Relatedly, my dad has started watching Buffy. He watched the first four episodes yesterday. So far he's not hooked, but I've told him to give it through the beginning of season 2. He's willing. So, that's good. Mom told him he can watch it all by himself...she will have none of it. It is much too weird. That kind of cracks me up.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Wow. If I could only bring my family to watch the stuff I watch... The closest I got was my sister, who watched Charmed (which I disliked. Still, the closest...).

ION. I found out that both Bruno Latour and some very good chocolate I had yesterday come from Côte-d'Or (as well as Phillip II, Count of Nevers - but that's irrelevant). Coincidence? I don't think so!
